The department of arthroscopy and sports injuries at Global Ortho and Trauma Hospital treat the full range of athletic injuries in children and adults, for both professional athletics and recreational athletes. All major sports procedures and surgeries are performed, including arthroscopic procedures on the knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle. Our surgeons also perform the most recently developed meniscal, cartilage and ligament reconstruction procedures.

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment procedure for the conditions of a joint. Most arthroscopic surgeries are done on an outpatient basis, and patients are allowed to go home within a day post surgery. The majority of patients resume daily activities and return to work or school within a few days. Athletes and other patients in good physical condition may return to athletic activities within a few weeks, under the care of our Global surgeons.
