The department is headed by Dr T. Kanagaraj. He completed his MBBS from Coimbatore medical college, graduated in Diploma in Anaesthesia from Madras Medical College and Post graduate degree from Thanjur medical college. With over 12 years of experience in Anaesthesiology and critical care, he excels in Paediatric and Orthopaedic anaesthesia and post operative pain relief. He is very much active in the academic front and conducts regular teaching programmes for post graduate students.
